Robotic Palletising | Robot Palletising
Robotic Palletising systems are supplied by both Newtec Group and Costi srl. The range includes Fanuc, ABB, Kuka or Euro type robots fully integrated into a complete line if required. Also we have in the range ‘Gantry Robots’ with multi axis as required to handle many lines. Costi specialise in a moving robot, namely the MP 35 system whic can have up to 8 inputs/building positions with bar code scanning and sortation systems. We have many references in Europe and UK with single robot cells or multiple robot cells, all of which can be viewed if required.

Costi Robot Palletisers:Costi have been supplying the UK market now for more than 25 years, they offer a comprehensive range of robotic palletisers or de palletisers, typically Scara, Articulated or Gantry type, all manufactured in house except fort the Articulated Robot. Scara systems with 4 Axis, are specifically designed for palletising, they can operate at up to 5 to 6 cycles per minute. They are manufactured completely by Costi and hence are very competitive. Loads can be up to 120kg typically, the picking heads tend to be syncronised gripper plates, with a central pusher to push out the packs to ensure side by side palletising of product. PLC is normally Siemens S7 series. |

Costi Mobile Robot MP35:This is a universal Scara system mounted on a trolley car. It can handle up to 8 different palletising positions/products at any one time. it can collect an empty pallet from a magazine and also slip sheets if required. This really is a superb system able to provide low cost palletising for multiple production lines at low speeds. It can palletise at floor level or onto a pallet conveyor. Finished pallets can be collected by transfer car and taken to an automatic wrapping/labeling system if required. |

Costi Autoclave:The loading and unloading system for autoclave baskets. Typically used in the Food industry to load for example pots of desserts into baskets which are then fed automatically into the Retorts for cooking. In the reverse Costi then unload the baskets and feed the product to the packing lines. Stainless Steel is the name of the game here as you would expect. |

Costi Gantry Robot:The robot type PSP Telescopic Gantry is a universal cartesian system with 2, 3 or 4 axis. It is made completely by Costi and can be designed to handle 1 to however many positions are required with multiple picking heads as required for the speed. Heads can collect empty pallets, slip sheets and product. The gantries can palletise at floor level or onto a pallet conveyor for removal by FLT or by transfer car. |

Costi Tin Store Systems:The automatic pan storage system used in the Bakery industry to load and unload baking tins, the system can be adapted to the customers needs in terms of tin storage and floor space, they are normally 2 axis. They use standard Siemens S7 plc’s, but we can accommodate other types if required such as Allen Bradley. |

Articulated Robots:4-Axis pick and place articulated robot, this type of robot can palletise realistically at around 6 to 7 cycles per minute. It can collect empty pallets from magazines, slip sheets and can have varying types of picking head. It is a very reliable robot with little maintenance required. It is simple to program and operate. It can palletise up to 4 1200 x 1000mm pallets to the front of the robot, or many more if pallets are placed around the machine. |

Full Layer Preparation With Robots:High speed palletiser with low level product infeed. This system was developed and ‘Patented’ by Newtec to be able to prepare rows and layers before the PP 4750 layer palletiser. Being a low level infeed it uses the latest technology with modular belts, servos and encoders, but without a vision system. Very high speeds can be achieved with this machine, whereas normally machines reaching these speeds are high level, Newtec are low level which is better for H&S purposes and direct operator access. |

Full Layer Picking With Robots:4 axis poly articulated palletising robot with full layer gripping head. Basically this robot collects full layers from a layer preparation table when high speeds are required with multiple picking positions and pallet building positions. It uses a large fork type tool to fully support the load during transit, it then conforms the layer on all 4 sides to ensure the load is square. When conformed the forks retract placing the product onot the waiting pallet. |

Compact Robotic Cells:Palletising Robot for low throughput’s, it is designed for compact enviroments with low outputs. It uses a Fanuc R2000 6 axis robot and has a single input and building positions. It can be easily installed and comes with plug and play self teach programming software. Typically used in the Pharmaceutical and Food industries. |
